A few years back, my mom took me to the store to get me a game for my Gameboy. I was playing the game on my way home, like I usually did when I got a new Gameboy game.

All of a sudden, the car stalled. My mom and I got out and started to walk home because our house was not far away. A guy pulled over and walked up to us.

He said, "I am a police officer." He even showed us his badge. He offered us a ride, since it was pretty hot out. It turned out that he even lived a block away from our house!

I still sometimes think of him and thank him in my head. I would like to thank him again for his act of kindness!
